The Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift Perform Together in Chicago
Taylor Swift joined the Rolling Stones onstage at Chicago’s United Center last night (June 3) to perform ‘As Tears Go By’ — and of course, dance a bit with Mick Jagger.
The Stones legend introduced the song as “one we haven’t done in quite a long time. Actually, it’s almost the first song that Keith (Richards) and I wrote. We didn’t do it at the time, we gave it to someone else, a young lady, to sing. But we’re going to do it now, with a bit of help…”
That assistance turned out to be country-pop sensation Swift, perhaps the most popular star in all of music over the last few years. The 23 year old sauntered in wearing a short black dress and handled the second verse herself. She also joined Jagger for a slightly exaggerated version of a formal dance, as if the two were crashing a ball at some palace. As she shared with her 28 million Twitter followers after the show, the night was clearly special for Swift:

John Mayer: Taylor Swift Song 'Made Me Feel Terrible'

Taylor Swift has never confirmed whether her song "Dear John" is about John Mayer, but the musician certainly thinks it is – and he's not a fan.
"It made me feel terrible," Mayer, 34, tells Rolling Stone in its latest issue.
"Because I didn't deserve it. I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do."
Swift, 22, is known for writing songs about her exes, and in "Dear John," she sings, "Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?"
The song appears on the country superstar's 2010 album Speak Now, which was released shortly after she was briefly linked to Mayer.
Mayer himself recently issued a mea culpa regarding interviews he gave revealing intimate details of his relationships with Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston.
Of Swift's song, he tells Rolling Stone: "I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call. I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"
Mayer also apparently takes issue with Swift as a musician.
"As a songwriter … I think it's kind of cheap songwriting," he tells Rolling Stone. "I know she's the biggest thing in the world, and I'm not trying to sink anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait till he gets a load of this!' That's bull––––."
